The tomahawk wasn't worth what I paid .... still good tho ... I would go back to try out the other meats although it's expensive lol .... the sandwich was better than the tomahawk in my opinion .... fries really good and crispy .... sausage was good .... mac and cheese better at outback lol .... service was lacking as soon as our waiter left they're shift ....low staff and they had a meeting .... the food takes time to cook ... reservation after 4pm none required before 4 I think it was ... corn bread after 4 also .. the dessert at the end was good
After hearing my friend rave about Meat Cellar, our team chose it for dinner. Making a reservation over the phone was easy, though online reservations would be more convenient.
We kicked off with flavorful poutine and I enjoyed the refreshing Smokey Pine alcoholic drink. For our main course, six of us shared 4 pounds of dry-aged ribeye and 2 pounds of Wagyu grade 6. Accompanied by lobster Mac and cheese, mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and mashed potatoes, the standout dishes were the lobster Mac and mushrooms.
The Wagyu was incredibly juicy and tender, while the dry-aged ribeye boasted the characteristic nutty flavors. Cooked to perfection, it was a delightful experience overall. The bar, though simple, had a charming decor. I look forward to returning, perhaps with my family next time.
This was my first visit to this “pricey” place and probably my last. Longhorn and Black Angus steak houses are easier on the wallet and somewhat comparable.
My New York steak (1 lb. @ $35.00), large serving / side of mac n cheese ($13.00) and craft beer ($8.00).
The table service cornbread was excellent, steak good (but had way too much fat attached which should have been trimmed off to reduce the weight and ultimately cost), mac n cheese was very tasty and beer was good. I don’t understand why a “steak” restaurant doesn’t offer a baked potato, seems such a natural pairing.
Service was friendly and attentive.
There was a single man band, playing music way too loud, which caused raised voices, just to talk the person across the table. I don’t understand why places think that loud music is preferred over table talk while eating dinner.
Not recommended.
Definitely enjoyed eating and spending my anniversary with the wife here!
Meat is tender and juicy! Someone did mention it is a little on the fatty side but truthfully best part of steak is the marble! Delicious tasting and good portion!
Ceasar Salad is good portion also very good mixture of dressing not too much where the salad is drowned in the dressing.
Definitely recommend the brussle sprouts with beacon. It is a delicious dish that they make! Pairs well with the steak!
Atmosphere is great love the bar area a d the service is friendly 👌 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great date place!
The Stagecoach and Grill Short Ribs Sandwich Combo at the Meat Cellar restaurant @themeatcellar Tender, flavorful short ribs and rib eye packed between two slices of heavenly bread. Beautiful restaurant, honest good food, and reasonable prices – a rare gem these days!
This was our first time at the Meat Cellar and the place was very nice. However, the steaks are over seasoned. The meat should only require salt and pepper, not all the extra seasoning that was on the ribeye. The service was great.
I got to know the Meat Cellar whennit was at it's previous location, and next door to the Starbucks. There was a common outdoor patio, and i was going to Starbucks regularly, then one weekend the meat cellar folks were BBging in the parking lot amd the rest is history. I've been with them every since. It was wonderful to see them grow into where they are now. I've been toball the best steak house's in all of Los Angeles, Las Vegas and the Bay Area, including Harris Ranch.
Meat Cellar holds it's own against all of them. Yes, its expensive, but life is short amd Foodnis "Best when Shared".
This is one of pur Family's get together restaurants.
The food was great and our server was very attentive.
Had a excellent meal!
